Bache Gabrielsen – Hors d’Age Grande Champagne Cognac
The oldest eaux-de-vie of this splendid blend of Grande Champagne dates back to 1917, and the youngest to the sixties.
The nose is rich and delicate, with aromas of honey, berries, and light notes of wood.
On the palate, the powerful attack is of almost oily consistency, characteristic trait of the Grande Champagne, and offers an excellent balance between the fruity, floral, and spicy notes of the wood.
The final is fabulously long, and there are cinnamon, nutmeg, and red fruits.
Grapes: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche
Raw: 100% Grande Champagne
Color: Very dark amber
Aging: 50 to 70 years in Limousin oak barrels

Très bon produit
