A second aging, on the island, in a cellar located in the heart of Fort de la Prée.
In its constant quest to offer consumers varied taste experiences, the discovery of the Ile de Ré vineyards enabled CAMUS to create the CAMUS ILE DE RE FINE ISLAND COGNAC range.
This island, located in the far west of the Cognac appellation region, offers inimitable eaux-de-vie with a marine character, tempered with fruity notes and an incredible roundness.
Spicy, finely iodized and very mellow, this unique cognac comes from the blend of eaux-de-vie produced, distilled and aged for the first time in a wet cellar on the lands of the Ile de Ré.
It is during the second aging, on the island, in a cellar located in the heart of the Fort de la Prée - which dominates the Atlantic Ocean from a cliff - that it acquires its suave and delicately marine character.
Built in 1926, Fort de la Prée is one of the few witnesses of pre-Vauban military architecture.
